Hello, my friends,

I hope you are well and having a beautiful day.

In the first moment, with remembrance, my attention returns to the body and breath. Sensations, emotions, and thoughts appear and disappear. I merely observe the passing clouds, grateful to see anything at all.

I am curious what it means to come back to ourselves, our true selves. How to find our center and balance, the stillness within? It is a continuous practice. Every moment is practice.

The moments that encourage a smile, and the moments that cut through with pain. We can observe and relate to any moment in a variety of ways. We have the choice to notice our perspectives and attitudes, to take or not take “action.”

Feeling the need to always be “doing something,” is it possible to let go and relax, to be gentle with ourselves? We can invite spaciousness and welcome what is right here.

There is great power in our breath, when we breathe deep into the base of our spines. Full and deep breaths, it can calm our systems down, a reset or boost. We can harness simple powers within ourselves, to feel more alive, or rather, fully alive as we are.

I wish to welcome the silence, to help cultivate my attention. While a part of me may get tossed around from the currents of the unfolding experience, I also see the center that is balanced and maintained throughout. In all moments, we can return to this place, this center, that is simultaneously deeply grounded and reaching out.

We come back to the breath again and again, lose ourselves and remember. The practice is to remember, to come home to ourselves, more frequently. Thus, we develop tools, such as labels, to come back. We find the center, once more, and relax. We can live a life of ease and peace, We can notice the noise and the currents, but we can return to the simplicity of our being. Simple, and miraculous.

What can we do to find the depths? How can we open to more love and compassion within ourselves, for ourselves, and the world? How can we create more spaciousness, rather than closing off and down? What does it mean to be, and to be alive, here, and now? One lifetime, and it all goes so quickly.

I am grateful for you being here, and for you being you.

Many blessings,

Tyler
