Moving With Ease

Another Day, Another Life

One point per sentence, the dots mark questions. Select a stretch to go to that paragraph.

It starts with the breath, a sacred and deep breath.

We find flow through movement and stillness.

Curious about various dimensions. Exploring the modalities of movement such as yoga, calisthenics, dance, “free movement”, and jiu jitsu. Incorporating movement everyday. It is a priority bringing about a significant strength and sense of well-being. Feeling a deep sense of gratitude for this way.

When possible, we head to the mountains and the natural world and let ourselves go. Intrigued by strenuous activity, states of fear and the unknown, perhaps flirting with that edge of death. What is it like to look death in the eyes and celebrate?

If life is a miracle, that must make death just as much so. In this life, I wish to acknowledge and find a deep sense of peace with that approaching state. I don’t know what will happen but it is the now, this very moment, that is being experienced and realized.

Some books I’m touching down on include The Untethered Soul and The Surrender Experiment by Michael Singer. I am repeatedly asking the question, Who Am I? as phrased by Nisargadatta Maharaj. I have many books on the radar and feel sincere appreciation for the opportunity to read these incredible books. It makes me very happy. Ideas and stories are sacred.

Writing and reflecting. Trying to be totally present, aware of each passing thought, as it all comes and it goes. Simply noticing, that’s it. Noticing what arises and falls away.

We continuously come back to breath. Breathwork, breath retention, Wim Hof Breathing, there are a variety of fascinating places to explore. Slowing way down to see the belly rise and fall. I want to see things as they truly are. Who am I, really? It’s such a beautiful question, perhaps the most important question of all.

Who am I? I am not my thoughts and my feelings. I see these states come and go so rapidly.

I will ask this question daily. I will continue to inquire with a smile on my face. Who am I? Life, life is crazy! To be, to simply be here now, it’s wild.

A shimmer of light in the sky for a brief moment to have burn away into eternity. Why are we afraid? Why do we have to know? What would it be like to let go, to fully let go?

To surrender, to give up control, to simply be and pay attention. A breath and a moment of gratitude for all that is.
