It's Time to Start

Walk into the forest with courage.

The only time to start is now. I’ve been dreaming for long enough and I’ve reached an edge. Life works that way. We do something for long enough and then we reach the edge. That edge is where I am now standing. Gazing out into the distance, thinking about the mountains. I want to know what will bring me back to the mountains.

What will bring us closer to the world we dream of? What is this world we dream of? What does it look like? Describe it, go into detail, and let the ideas explode and build upon themselves. That’s what I am doing here. I am peering deep into my mind, connecting with my soul, and figuring out how to make the dream real.

The soul is calling. I will respond to the call. I will listen to the sounds that come from the skies and earth. The sounds that come from within. I will listen, truly listen. I will work on the things that I struggle with. I will look at my weaknesses and try to better understand them.

I will do what I can with what I have, attempting to gain more experience and more perspective, in a fascinating, indescribable world. My life is an attempt to find ways to understand and describe this world, this experience. Sitting closely with the lightness and darkness, feeling as though I know nothing but wish to learn everything.

All through this process I will practice gratitude and make an ongoing effort to be intentional with my actions.

This is where it starts, right here, today. Each day, every week, I will arrive with an evolving perspective, sharing something small from my life, hoping to touch your life, hoping to give you something, something to inspire the goodness within you, presence, awareness, gratitude, and intentionality. We are tapping into our greatness. Moreso, we remember that it has always been with us.

We will find our way in this world. As wolves, we will dream big. We will roam the forests and the mountains, with strength beyond strength. Focus and passion.

It all comes back to the breath.

Thank you,
